The second (and often neglected) method of job “searching” on the various job sites is to POST YOUR RESUME to as many job sites as you can find. This is really important to do, because recruiters and employers pay for access to the job site’s resume database and spend tens of thousands of hours a day searching for resumes to fill their open jobs. If you’re not on the site, they cannot find you.
It is equally critical to post your resume to ALL of the different job sites on this page. This is because companies typically only use one or two of the many different sites. YOU have to be everywhere if you want to be sure to be found.
Last of all, once you post your resume on a job site, that site will allow you to save one or more job queries. If a new job is posted that fits your search criteria, it will be emailed to you.
Monster.com has become one of the “Big Three” online job sites. If you’re really serious about your job search, be sure you’ve put your resume on Monster as well as the following three job sites.

If you make over 100K in salary and commissions, you should check out 6FigureJobs. They list only executive and other 100K+ positions, and are free for job seekers.
SnagaJob.com is a large site that is dedicated to part time and hourly jobs. If that is what you are looking for, you need to put your resume on this site and bookmark it for frequent searches!
HotResumes is strictly a resume database site. You upload your resume and recruiters and employers pay a modest fee to access it and others. It is definitely worthwhile to take a few minutes and post your resume here.
